What a difference

A day makes (well 36 hours to be almost precise). One minute you are sitting on your patio sipping Pimms in glorious sunshine and the next, after a night of thunderstorms and torrential rain you have to contend with flooding.

Last night was great with lightning illuminating our bedroom every half hour followed by the usual loud booming thunder and then the rain. I normally love to fall asleep listening to rain on the window but not last night.

Did all this remove our current humidity. No in fact it has probably made it worse. Hey ho another sticky night in store then.

P.S This road was closed half an hour later when the drains gave up the ghost, admitted defeat and spat all the water back out.
