Joy

It’s been a wonderful day. I was thrilled to discover, after I’d done all my calculations, that I had my best takings ever at the sale, and my annual total for distribution to the various missions and charities that our church supports is also my best ever since I started in 1997. 

Surprisingly, I’m not as tired as I would have thought, given that this has been an exceptionally busy time for me with the publication of my daughter-in-law’s book coinciding with all the card production. However, I still have 85 packs of Christmas card orders to make so, after a Sunday of rest, I will be back on the production line on Monday …

And now to snuggle up beside Smithers and watch television for an hour before heading up to bed for an early night.
