Easedale Tarn

Drove to Grasmere and set off on a new walk. It was beautiful. The weather was a bit dull but didn’t dampen our spirits. We crossed some farmland and then climbed up the side of a waterfall called Sour Milk Gill. Then another steady climb before we reached Easedale tarn. We walked all the way round and headed on down. Then we stopped briefly in Ambleside for new walking shoes. We are staying in the Crown Inn in Coniston tonight - great accommodation and food.
