Cathedral Quarry, Little Langdale.

After a great breakfast at the Crown Inn in Coniston. We headed for Little Langdale. This was a special request from Will who was at primary school last time we explored this area. You need a headtorch and waterproof boots. It is spectacular! It was as he’d remembered but smaller (but then he is bigger). We drove on to Wray Castle which was new to me. Great cafe and wonderful views across Windermere from west to east.
