Fiji

Today was dull, but I still gave Django a good walk along the old railway to Roslin, returning on the bus. At home I did a bit of work before A returned from rowing, and then headed into Edinburgh with Murrayfield my destination.

The Scotland-Fiji game was entertaining, if not competitive. Scotland were 26-0 up in 21 minutes, but then they let Fiji back into the game, and at one point it was 29-17. Then four more Scottish tries re-established the gulf in quality between the sides. Scotland also had 3 tries ruled out for marginal infringements.

Afterwards I walked back into the centre, re-establishing contact with people once I got better bandwidth. I ended up eating with И and her boyfriend who have just arrived for a week with the aim of funding a flat to live in long-term.

On the bus home I had a long and entertaining random conversation with a guy who has also been to the rugby and had a few drinks
