The Courtauld
Mr P and I got up early and caught the train from Claygate to Waterloo as we’d booked two art exhibitions today.
It was a bit dank and dreary but surprisingly mild in London. We walked along the South Bank and then to and round St James’s Park, enjoying the autumnal colours and the Ambassador’s pelicans.
Our first exhibition was Monet and London at the Courtauld Gallery (excellent) and then after lunch we headed to Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery for the Van Gogh exhibition (amazing). By the time we got back to Claygate we’d walked our socks off!
TV dinners with our nephews watching Strictly and The Wheel and then we played Uno until late. Great fun!
