Lazy Afternoon

What a difference a day makes. It was supposed to be thunder and rain for most of the day. Maybe Michael Fish had been let loose on the weather reports again, because it was a glorious day. Early afternoon and we found ourselves with a bit of time on our hands so we walked round to Nicol End Marine. We just love the coffee and giant fruit scones they serve. The place was buzzing with people of all ages sailing, canoeing and generally messing about on the water. After we'd had our fill, we started to walk back, only to discover that we were shattered and could hardly walk. We made it to Portinscale when luckily the local bus came. What a stroke of luck. We really should limit our calorific intake next time we go there but then we say that every time!
