A Canadian in Rhyl

SATURDAY

It was wonderful to see Harriet, who had driven for two and a half hours from Nottingham to spend the weekend with us. 

She brought along several baskets filled with her treasured soft toys—including Divine, Percy Pigs, and others as we are looking after them while she’s away in New Zealand. 

She also brought “Maple Pinecone,” a Royal Canadian Mounted Police beaver she bought during her honeymoon in Canada back in June. 

While Harriet visited her grandmother at a care home in Rhyl this afternoon, I gave Maple a little tour of the town.
