A room full of books
Usual dull and drizzle today. Not very inviting, hard to get up the enthusiasm for going out, so I spent the morning on Keep Oban Beautiful stuff. I've been trying to write a piece for our Facebook page to explain why it seems that we're not achieving anything, but there have been so many unsuccessful attempts to get things done that it ended up longer than I intended, so I'm not sure whether to publish it or not.
Raked up some leaves then went in to lunch.
After lunch I drove up to Benderloch where they hold a 'Bookends' on the 3rd of every month in the Victory Hall. This is my Blip today. They have a large collection of books there and you can take what you want to, take back what you want to, sit and read and have a cuppa or just chat. I took a box of books which I no longer wanted and came home with only four! I was pleased to find an Edward Marston 'Railway Detective' which I didn't have.
Quote of the Day: 'A room without books is like a body without a soul.’ – Cicero.
