Friendly puss
Not quite as gloomy as the last few days - just overcast, calm and dry. Various things around the house this morning, sorting out books and the like. I received a book through the post this morning - 'Lovey Mary', the sequel to 'Mrs Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch' that I Blipped a few days ago. For a 1903 publication it's in amazing condition - I can imagine it being in someone's bookshelf for over 120 years!
After lunch I went out for a litter pick - I haven't done one for a while. Had some fun up at McCaig's Tower with a family on holiday - two little girls who we fascinated by my litter-picker, so I teased them with it. On the way back down I came across local puss Misha, sitting on a seat outside the Tower, so I sat down and played with him for a while. Then the family came past and the two little girls played with Misha too. He's quite friendly, but doesn't go out of his way to get involved. He's my Blip today
Did my usual circuit and picked up a full bag of rubbish - less than usual but then it's a little quieter in the town at the moment.
Quote of the Day: 'People who drop litter really stress me out. I have been known to chase after people and say, 'Sorry, but you've forgotten something,' and then hand it back to them.' - Ainsley Harriott.
