An improvement from “crappy” to “meh”

Another day best summarized as crappy. Watched the Arsenal-Liverpool match in the morning (we haven’t shifted our clocks yet, so there is a minimal 4-hour time difference with the UK at the moment). The match was crap. I’ve mentioned before that I hate modern football, and this may now be extending to not enjoying watching Liverpool play. (Actually, I have never really enjoyed watching Liverpool play, I have always been far too emotionally involved to enjoy it. I enjoy it afterwards, but not while watching. Now, though, I am detached. I can’t explain why – it might just be the climbdown post-Klopp, or it might be the tactics Slot is using. Either way, it’s not for me.)
 
Did a little work, then took Ottawacker Jr. to the first of this two practices. I stayed and chatted to the goalie coaches, telling them how well he had been responding to their sessions and then about his tournament on Thursday. Then left, went home, and then went back to the second session to watch, in the freezing cold, his final fall session.
