A barrow full of ......

We came across this lovely barrow of flowers. We are now in Cumbria, in Bothel, WHERE last night there was a power cut and no Blip. Also torrential rain.

We have picked red currants for the freezer, we are lucky enough to go home with some - I just hope we remember to take them with us - and a couple bags of black currants. Plucking the fruit is the easy part, removing the stalks etc seemed to take an age, especially the red currants. Keep thinking of pies in the winter...
