The small world story continues re my new home. I found out the property manager's last name when he sent me an email this morning with the lease attached. I was hoping there might have been 2 people with that name but when I was talking to him on the phone this afternoon he mentioned his wife's name. Several years ago, I think it was 2012, I was dating a guy who was involved in an Amway business. It is one of the original MLM businesses. The guy tried to get me involved, but he would not give me any support in bringing other people into the business. His upline (the one who had brought Roy into the business) was not much help either. Now, the upline is the one who is the property manager where I will be living. At that time, he would have known my name, but does he remember it now? He has not given any indication that he does. Will he remember me when we meet in person on Nov 15th when he gives me the key to the house?

It makes me wonder what has happened in the past 12 years. His was the most successful Amway group in Nova Scotia at that time. Did Covid kill an MLM business? He was living in a million dollar home at that time. Why is he working for a property management company now? When I googled the company I don't see his name mentioned.
