The Fisher King of Tavira

We've seen this guy every night of our hols - patiently and mindfully sifting the low tide mud for clams, scallops and oysters. I wonder if they are to feed him and his family, or whether he will make a few euros trading with the local restaurants? There is a danger of over-romanticising the scene perhaps - but it is pretty and serene on the the surface at least...
