Don't Get In My Way

We took the kids to the local play park this morning.

The residents of the street have to pay a monthly fee for the upkeep of the park and the landscaping.

From what I can see there is no landscaping to be looked after apart from a small group of trees in the park.
There is a slide which is desperately in need of some maintenance , 3 concrete mushrooms With very rough exposed 'foundations', 2 spring loaded seesaw type things, a bench and an extremely unhealthy rusty, peeling waste bin.
The 'child safe' chipped bark area is well below safe limits with the plastic sheeting exposed and wooden edges screaming out to have chunks of child flesh hung off them.

By my reckoning there is between £12,000 - £15,000 a year going into a fund where nothing is being spent on what it is meant to be spent on.

I feel some enquiries and arse kicking coming up.
