On This Day

Squiggly Bridge

For the fourth time in a week I'm in Glasgow, this time to meet my grandson from school and look after him till his mum and dad come home from work.

I had a bit of time between my first train arriving and the second departing so I walked down to the river to try for a bridge blip. There's an awful lot of extraneous stuff here and I didn't have enough time to walk onto the Tradeston (squiggly) Bridge. It's an attractive structure though at the angle of my blip you can't see the bend in it. It's a pedestrian and bike bridge.

Although the cloud has lifted a bit and there's even a hint of blue sky today the light is still flat and uninteresting. I've done my best.

Good walk this morning with my Tuesday walking neighbour. Haven't managed for about six weeks. Enjoyed yoga last night too.

America Decides will be on the radio all night. I expect to listen and hope that there is a clear margin of defeat for Trump. I'm not cheering for Harris but I hope she wins.
