Little And Large

Dental appointment this morning - it was planned as a routine checkup, but I lost a very old filling a couple of weeks ago, so the dentist was able to repair that today, no drilling required as there was no new decay. Phew. No other problems.

Anyway, I am £75 poorer as a result.

Spotted these two fungi while out for a walk - and they were literally the only ones of their kind - one nestled in grass and one deep inside a rotting log…I initially though that it was a piece of discarded orange peel.

I can ID the one on the right - a shaggy inkcap - and it was about 20cm (8 inches) tall. No idea what the orange one is but it is tiny - about 1 cm high!!    
I have removed the EXIF info from both images as they are so radically different!

I may return… :-)
