MONDAY

I started the day with a drive to Mold for an appointment with Kemi, my new dentist at the BUPA practice. Good news—no major dental work needed! Just a chipped filling that my old dentist in Yorkshire will redo as it's still “under warranty.” Even dental work comes with guarantees these days.

Next a scenic drive over the moors via Dovestone to Honley. A stop at The Gallery Cafe for lunch then yet another audiology appointment with Sarah and Kirsty

Checked into the Premier Inn in Halifax, then wandered over (via M&S) to The Piece Hall which was getting decked out with the Galloping Horses and other festive attractions. 

Dinner was at Pizza Express at Junction 27, followed by a quick stop at  relatives’ before finally retreating back to Halifax for some much-needed rest.

I thought Pegasus was white and had wings. Obviously not the Halifax version.
