Over

I finished reading the papers for my lunchtime meeting this morning then walked down to the station to get the train over to Glasgow. Despite the day starting dull and cloudy again, it was brighter on the journey across, and the sun broke through again on the way home, by which time it was low in the sky.
We had a good discussion about the building plans and next steps now planning permission's been granted, and it was nice to be there in person having been on zoom for most of the last few meetings.
All the way there and back I listened to the next book group book by Elif Shafak, There are rivers in the sky, which I quickly fell into....loving her storytelling and incredible imagination. It's a long book but I'm looking forward to listening to it all.
Lots of ideas and lists bubbling around today and once home again with the dark creeping on I settled down to notewriting and pulling the ideas together.
