Winter's coming!
But not just yet!
Galanthus reginae olgae, an autumn flowering snowdrop species from Greece. It's much more tolerant of dry conditions than the spring flowering Galanthus nivalis, not surprising given the warmer climes it originates from. All mine are raised from seed which it reliably produces in cultivation. It's almost leafless at flowering time.
Boy was I tired last night! It was very late before I got to sleep but I can't remember sleeping a morning away apart from when I've been ill with flu. Seemed to do me good as I have felt reasonably human today. Ruth brought three bags of laundry with her so I have been working my way through those. Meg had a walk and I stopped in at pottery to turn and trim the latest two pieces. Seems I have made a lidded jar although we'll have to see if it survives the kiln in working order.
An excellent evening singing tonight, almost maximum numbers and we made a great sound. Assorted Christmas performance requests have come in, rather like buses, you wait ages for one and then three come along at once!
