Small Things Like These

Well, this was a big pizza obviously but we went to the local posh cinema and saw the film adaptation of Claire Keegan’s superb short novel and the film didn’t disappoint.  It didn’t usurp the novel and although Cillian Murphy wasn’t how I saw the main character,  he made it is own.  Well, given he bought the rights early and produced it he deserved to.  If you haven’t read the book do but the film is a good alternative. 

And then this pizza afterwards at Guidos, very good local pizza.  This was a Norma with aubergine and slices of burrata.  Pretty delicious.  

Other than that day in the barn, had a meeting with the partner on one of my developments.  And sent a lot of emails.  

Did 10000 steps.  

Going to bed trying not to think about the US election, Vik  (American) has been doomscrolling all day.
