Michael Cox

Another great day of fluting.

Some ensemble work, when I opted to have a go on Janna's bass flute.  Then Michael Cox gave us an interesting and varied recital, before doing a really useful and supportive masterclass with some of the students.

The day finished with Michael, Janna and Simon playing a trio - see extra.

After packing up, I went to Paddington Station to catch a train to Swansea.  Engineering works and staff shortages meant I stood on a packed - corridors and doorways totally jammed full - train to Taunton, and then stood on another equally packed train from Taunton to Bristol Temple Meads, before finally getting a seat on the train from Bristol to Swansea.
