Signs near a voting center

I walked to where I dropped off my ballot when I voted early but saw nothing there. I looked up the voting location and saw that it was at the high school. I wonder why they're different. I got in my car and drove to the real place. It wasn't busy at 4:30 p.m.

I wonder what happens with all these signs. It's so excessive. I think they're plastic, so that's an awful lot of waste.
