SKYSCAPE
I watched the coverage of the American election on TV last evening and by the time I went to bed I already knew Trump was the winner and would be the next President. I was sad and shocked. I can't imagine why anyone would want to vote for such a terrible person.
I slept late and did a few chores before going down to the village this afternoons'. Lots of parcels to collect. First one was at the Convenience Store. Then I walked along to Tesco to get 3 more. Did a bit of shopping there as well. No grapes on the shelves. I eat grapes every day so I was rather disappointed. I got raspberries and mango instead.
Next I went to The Card Shop to buy a wedding card for my nephew and his new wife. They got married today. They have been together for many years and have 4 children. The oldest id 16 and the youngest is 2. The wedding was kept secret until it was over - the only ones at the ceremony were the bride and groom and witnesses. They are going to have a celebratory meal with family - not sure if that was today or not. I'm seeing my sister in law tomorrow so I will give her the card to pass on.
Before walking home I got my blip shot for Wide Wednesday. The theme is' Skyscape". As you can see today's sky was rather flat and lifeless. My shot shows the view across the River Tyne to the Newcastle side. The most colourful thing in the shot is Ikea which is near The Metrocentre. Thanks to BobsBlips for hosting.
