What's gone wrong?

What’s gone wrong?
 
Woke this morning to the terrible news that Trump is back in the White House – with a substantial majority.
It seems incredible to us in Europe that a convicted felon, a man with a criminal record and a liar, could be voted back into one of the most powerful roles on this planet.
How did it happen?
He tapped into their fears and frustrations. And they fell  for the rhetoric believing he will make America great again.
But I doubt if Trump will be their salvation.
