Light in the Darkness
I do not say this out of religious conviction, but because the leaf glowed on the woodland floor. We all need light in our darkness, especially at his difficult time.
I was in the hospital quite early, to be sure I was there for the consultant visiting Margret. He was delightful, assessed her thoroughly and gave easy to understand explanations for her.
The medication for her involuntary movements is not working, so he has changed it.
Margret also talked to two baby medical students today. They are two weeks into their first year. In my day we did not see a patient until year 3 but things have changed. Both lads were from overseas and arrived in the UK last month.
Margret talked and talked and talked, so they got value for money!
I came home, forgetting to bring her dirty nightie, but a friend brought it later for me.
It was a sunny afternoon, so I went down to Acomb Woods for a short walk, enjoying the last rays of the sun and the unexpected warmth.
Tonight it's a Zoom talk from MyPhotoClub. It's a great organisation is you haven't come across it. The talks are on Thursday evenings and they get very good speakers.
