Packing for the plane...
waiting for departure....so
my friend leaves today

We were up having our first coffee at 7:30. My friend was getting the paperwork organized and making sure all was packed and everything accounted for. 

I took a tour of my backyard. It is looking quite the mess. I will need to have someone here to do yard clean up. That will be next week. 

The bougainvilleas need a big haircut. The lemon tree has a few lemons and the tree looks healthy. The orange tree is looking very poor. I don't know if it will make another year. Parts of the tree are dead. The fruit looks withered and burnt. 

My friend starts on the way home this afternoon. It will be a long trip back to Western Australia. The house will seem empty tonight.
