It's a quiet start
to the day....I went shopping
for fabric and shoes

I was up munching granola before 6. Coffee came second today. Then I had to wait until stores opened at 9 to get going. 

I got myself to the open air Arizona Marketplace that lives through the Yuma season. I made straight for the quilt store which is always amazing. Today, I sadly learned that this quilt shop is in its last season. The owners come down from Washington state with this abundant inventory. Then they take what's left home again in the spring. But, like me, they are retirement age and would like to be retired. I can only hope that some enterprising person will replace this and continue to make the quilters happy. 

I went looking for a pair of shoes for my cranky feet as my last stop today. I did find something and I hope they will serve me well. 

I'm home for the day and may squeeze in a wee nap before long.
