Perfect Day

Well, the weather certainly was and the rest of the day lived up to the brightness.

An earlier start saw me out meeting Sue at Abertrinant mid morning.   An idyllic place to live and a great starting point for a walk.   We just strolled along the lane, down to the Dysynni valley where we got a view of Craig yr Aderyn from the opposite side of the valley to many of the recent shots it's featured in - an extra pic.  The  play of sunlight through the autumn trees was magical, the day's highlight.

Home for lunch of yesterday's homemade soup then an afternoon packing and preparing for the week away.  More laundry collated as it has been a better drying day.   Then a quick pizza tea and an evening at a pottery community session.   A little glazing and a dish with a gentian design started.   I didn't stay too late.    Off on our travels tomorrow.
