GULLS

Still testing the effectiveness of the Nikkor 300mm f/2.8 lens but this time with the 1.7x multiplier attached.  I drove down to the lake front (Lake Michigan) where there's always an abundance of cooperative gulls.

These are Ring-billed Gulls (Larus delawarensis) which is a northern hemisphere gull and quite common in Wisconsin.

EXTRA 1-  Ring-billed gulls flying inverted.  LOL!
~
EXTRA 2- Flying overhead.  All shots were made hand held.  That lens combo along with the Nikon D6 body gets heavier every year.  Good thing I lift my weights every day or hand-holding might soon get to be an impossibility.

BEST IN LARGE.
