House in the trees

It's not really in the trees. In fact, they've had some trees cut down, presumably as a precaution. I took this photo from the second-level porch, which I suppose we could also call a balcony. We never go up there. It needs some work done.

I'm still reeling from the election results. I suppose I (we) will for decades. Sigh. I don't know what to do. At least the trees are pretty for now.
