Parkrun Sondsbeek

It’s Saturday, so it’s Parkrun day. We cycled just a mile down the road from our overnight stop to the lovely Sondsbeek park. A lovely friendly bunch and a couple of laps of the park, in glorious autumn colours - great start to the day.
MrKT and I then cycled round the town , stopping to shop at the market. We got quite carried away on the cheese purchases having felt a bit deprived of tasty cows milk cheese over the passed few weeks. The cheese of choice in the Balkan countries we visited seemed to be mostly smelly sheep’s cheese - tasty but I was missing a nice hard cheddar (or a Dutch cheese!).
We also stopped by the John Frost bridge (A Bridge to Far) - famously defended but lost by the British in the Battle of Arnhem in 1944.
