Winsford

Anns a' choile

I was struck by how different my surroundings looked as I walked back through the woods after my swim and coffee this morning. The absence of leaves meant I could glimpse the Tummel as I walked along and that I noticed details such as this Ivy.

The woodland  is currently up for sale but I won't be putting in an offer.

I finished The Maiden by Kate Foster.  It didn't live up to its early promise - whilst I enjoyed the descriptions of Edinburgh in the 1670s I felt that the character development was lacking.  I have now moved to Edinburgh in 1853 and the latest Ambrose Perry book whose characters I am sure will be much better developed.

We started watching Ludwig last night which  I enjoyed and T came round to and so will continue with that this evening.

Have a lovely weekend all.
