Friday: Welcoming

We spent the morning doing some very satisfying rearranging of furniture and putting gap filler between our floorboards.

Cousin S was in town so this afternoon we met up with her at the ‘Coach and Horses’ in Barnes Bridge.  It was perfect - they even had the log fire burning………

In good news, the cat has learnt to use the cat flap.  In less good news, it’s not our cat.  K came down this morning to find herself face to face with a random black cat in our kitchen.   Barney didn’t seem remotely bothered.
