Visitors
Today we were back to proper, cold, dull November weather, which was fine in the morning because I kept moving. However, I was definitely short of a layer when waiting for a bus home in the evening, so played the game of keeping warm by taking Turf zones, but chosen so that I didn't arrive too late at a bus stop.
Meanwhile, I'd spent a few hours chatting with visitors. Firstly was a Polish-Serbian couple up from London. She was an Operational Research MSc student from 2017-18, who met her husband when they were Informatics PhD students in Cambridge, so there was much chat about technical issues. Then I walked the 100m from the Bayes Centre to a café, where I joined two former Blippers. A German-Danish couple, they live in Norway. This time the talk was about archaeology - his subject - and travelling.
