Oops

Having spent most of the day in the craft room desperately trying to finish all the Christmas card orders, I had to resort to popping out into the garden late this afternoon to try and find a blip. I decided this yellow rose would be ideal, but unfortunately it was so high up on the bush that even on tiptoe I couldn’t see the inside of the bloom. 

I decided to assist matters by pulling the stem down towards me, but unfortunately I accidentally snapped its slender stalk in so doing. Well, at least I got my shot … but not in the most ideal way!
