National Harbor Christmas Tree Lighting

This evening we went to dinner with my husband's family to celebrate his sister's milestone birthday (extra.)
After dinner, we watched the lighting of the 2024 National Harbor Christmas Tree. It was super exciting. They had giant snow blowers pumping out snow and then had a fireworks show over the harbor. (I think that is the first time that I have watched fireworks in the snow!) They were playing Christmas carols and Santa and his crew were there greeting the children.

It was super tough to photograph in the low light without OCF or a tripod. I ended up propping my camera over my purse on a marble stand to capture the fireworks. For the family photo, I had to use massive ISO. I used Topaz Labs to denoise the photo. It is frustrating that my cell phone family photo is so much better.
