Martin DX-1

The bad news train returned today, so we've booked tickets to the UK. Leaving tomorrow so that Miles has the oppotunity to meet his Great Nan.

Last minute flight booking, but it'll be good to be back in the UK and see everyone, no matter the circumstances.

Tonight's blip is my Martin Dx-1. It was given to me by my parents for my 21st birthday and I was the luckiest son around.

Amazingly, the back and sides are made out of a special laminate (not hardwood), although the top is. It sounds amazing and I love it (but it's not as special as Precious).

May need to backblip tomorrow depending on how crazy tomorrow morning is.
