Coiled beech leaves

We are having fun in Hexham with Katherina.

This morning we went for a walk from the house to Leazes wood. We passed my grandparents' old house on the way up the hill. I was sorry to see the sad state of the front garden. It used to be full of interesting plants, lovingly cared for by my grandfather. Now it's just a plain patch of lawn.

This afternoon we all lazed around the house. This gave me the opportunity to listen to all the past week's episodes of The archers and read some more of Cuddy.

This evening we went out for a curry at Cilantro, right next to Hexham Abbey.

We have talked and talked and talked...

I blipped the coiled beech leaves in Leazes wood.

Exercise today: walking (16,291 steps).
