This is my best side!

Another day of gloomy grey skies and we have more to go sadly.  This parakeet posed nicely for me on the shepherd's crook holding the bird feeders nearest to the house: unusual but he/she was clearly in a mood for posing for a picture.
In other news: we had Stella-Rose today and also have her tonight.  I say 'we' but she spent the afternoon at the Hockey Club with daughter #1 and Mr MC who umpires matches there.  Needless to say, she made lots of new friends of all ages!
This evening, having got S-R to bed, we watched The Royal British legion Festival of Remembrance.
