Yellow Roses!

11°C  -  9 mph W Wind Speed  -  22 mph Gusts  -  Overcast.  Bit windy out but I managed a Blip of the yellow Roses  -  they're not the Dame Vera Lynn Roses but she did have a Rose named after her.  I remember her during WW2 on the radio and on Pathě News in the cinema.  She's remembered best for 'We'll Meet Again', but I like 'Where have all the flowers gone' best as a song during the war - you can here it HERE!  I much prefer Marlene Dietrich's version though!  Amazingly it is a song still being sung  - for instance, Liliya Latzko sings it as a song of freedom and peace for Ukraine  -  listen to her HERE!
