Home Grown!

9°C  -  5 mph W Wind Speed  -  10 mph Gusts  -  Overcast  -  Some Blue Sky Spells.  Couldn't resist these delights  -  very tasty  -  tomatoes and Bananas are my favourite.  In the 1930s I can remember buying Bananas in the Market in London for a farthing each  -  I wonder if anyone  buys Bananas singly these days!  Imagine my disappointment in 1936 when we moved up to Scotland and Bananas were a halfpenny each!!  (There were four farthings to a penny so a Banana was twice the price in Scotland.)
