First sunshine in weeks
Today began dull, but we're used to that! Rather concerned about Susie, the smaller of our two cats. She’s been getting stiffer in the joints for a while, but in the last day or two she’s been looking very unhappy and I think a visit to the vet is required. They are 14 years old, so it’s not surprising, but worrying all the same.
Off to London tomorrow, so I’ve spent most of the day getting ready for it. I’m only away for a week, but I’ve been organising my plants to make it easier for Mrs M to water them. Indoors and greenhouse, that is - I think the outdoor stuff can look after itself!
I was amazed after lunch to see the sun coming out, so I took my cuppa outside and made the most of it. Maybe only ten minutes, but it was good to see it. Later on we had more sunshine, so maybe things are changing. Another surprise flowering - Schizostylis coccinea is my Blip today.
So a long train journey tomorrow - I leave Oban at 08.50 and arrive in Hampton at 18.54. Good to sit back and relax!
