Mittry Lake is a
lovely jewel along the
blue Colorado

My Sunday morning started with coffee before 8 AM. I could see that the yard sales were going to continue so I thought best to get myself out for a drive as soon as possible.

On such a beautiful Arizona day, a trip to Mittry Lake seemed like a good idea. The drive through agricultural lands is always pleasant. A few workers were out moving and setting irrigation lines. Not many people could be seen today.

Mittry Lake looked so inviting. The blue of the lake matched the blue of the sky. I chatted with a fisherman parked nearby my spot. I walked down onto one of the jetties. It has been a favourite location when our group is out painting. American coots were present in great numbers. They were making a lot of noise while cruising the waterways. I took several shots of palms and glistening water.

I'm home for the day with no plans other than putting my feet up.
