Up before the sun
and admiring my place in
the old universe

I took myself off to the grocery store for 7:30. The sun was just coming up as I made the drive. 

When I'd loaded the groceries into my car I took a little drive in my Foothills neighbourhood. I got several views of the Gila Mountains with the sun coming in at different angles. I stopped for a look at my mesquite tree that I so admire. I caught the sun peeking through its middle. 

I came home to make some breakfast and unpack the groceries. Two neighbours on my street are having yard sales. I'm not used to so much traffic on my quiet street. I sat with my big mug of coffee watching the customers come and go. 

I will have a quiet day at home with no particular goals for the day.
