Sun & Blue Sky

After such a dismal couple of weeks, it was lovely to see the sun and blue sky at Sheringham this morning, so that had to be my blip even if it didn't last long. I was there for a hygienist appointment which had been cancelled twice due to a lack of hygienist. She was very young, but local to North Norfolk, so hopefully she'll stay around. I was shocked how much it had gone up though - to £82! I would love to know what the inflation rate is for the things we have no option but to do, so excluding discretionary spend on holidays, days out and meals out etc as I bet it is higher than the CPI rate. This afternoon I set about picking up leaves out the front to fill my garden bin which is due for collection this week. After hanging on, the leaves are coming down fast now. I had a nice chat whilst out there with a couple local to Holt who were looking at the bungalow opposite me which is back on the market. They are downsizing, so I hope they make an offer and it's accepted.
