B B I F

I've been out for most of the afternoon and came home blipless. Never mind, I'll just nip out and photograph a bumbly bee on the lavender in the garden. Oh yeah .... three quarters of an hour and 450 shots later I'd given up on the bees and photographed the brightly blooming Rose of Sharon round the side.

Surprise, surprise, I didn't even notice I'd got this BBIF (Bumbly Bee in Flight) so Rose of Sharon will have to see if her chance comes another day.

Lots of rain last night, which, I'm told by the head gardener, is a good thing. It's left us a lovely sunny day and feeling a bit fresher, I think.
