Pond Fly

I thought it was a pond skater at first as it was sitting on clear water but it seems to be a fly that likes hanging around on the (rather mucky) pond. I've cropped it a ridiculous amount to present to you.

It's been another day that's seemed too bright for most of the day but as the sun went down there was not much in the way of evening light to go out for. Ah well, that's the way it goes and maybe it's good to focus on different subjects occasionally.
