All day on Sweetheart's Hill

Our friends, the newly weds, had planned today as "Agricultural Day" with the harvest of the olives from the trees on the Hill, where Sweetheart has his first olive grove ~ its slope is rather steep ( but I know, not as steep as from some others) The olives we did harvest are like tiny dots and from two such olives I noticed that its skin lies directly on the hard inner "stone" what shows that the olives don't have any body, i.o.w. no oil.

We collected the olives as the trees need to be freed from those fruits in order to grow new crops next year. Of course it must rain here!!! Now, Winter, Spring up till June and then from September 1st onwards again.

I took some pix with my camera too, but I need to download them on the laptop and this photo from my Handy enters on instant now. Some branches and olives are still hidden in my hair, and I smell the olives still :-) Yes, a shower I'll take (after dinner, as we didn't eat all working day long)
