Today's the day ...................... to see the light

A gloriously sunny day today with clear blue skies - so welcome after the endless gloom of past days.  And when we got to late afternoon, it also made me think that it's not just the sun I've been missing - we haven't been able to see the moon for ages either.

So here it is, a bit rugby ball-shaped but unmistakably the moon, appearing over the tops of the trees as it steadily rises .......................
